STONE MOTHER The Father of all indians lived on a Mountain near Reese River. He was a good man but was very lonely and wished he had someone to keep him company. A woman heard about this man but she was married already. Her husband found out that his wife wanted to go find this man and became very jealous. The woman and her husband got into a huge fight and she ended up killing him. After killing her husband, she went and searched for the lonely man. She found the lonely man and they became married. They had many many children. Their oldest child was very mean and he was always causing trouble, because of he was so mean all of the children were constantly fighting and the man became angry and told his oldest child to take one of the women and go west. He told the rest of the children to stay with their mother and look after her. The man went to his home in the sky. The mother was sad that she didn't have all her children with her so she sat apon a mountain and cried everyday. Her tears turned into Pyramid Lake and she turned to Stone.
